ASDA AND SHARON COME TO A PARTING
Although the contract was supposed to last for a year, WalMart's Asda chain don't seem to be especially upset that Sharon Osbourne has decided to step down from their advertising campaign. Apparently, Sharon's going to be too busy anyway, what with appearing in a big Hollywood film with David Furnish.
Stop laughing at the back, we're sure that it's a real project. Just because there's nothing listed on IMDB, which would suggest that the plans aren't so far advanced that they'd stop Sharon from spending a day in the Colindale branch of Asda pretending to goose old men and spouting about how cheap the coley fillets are there, that doesn't mean that there isn't really a movie. We're sure every studio in Hollywood would want to back a sure-fire hit featuring Elton John's husband-to-be (a man whose most challenging role to date has been "audience member" and whose profile is so low he didn't even get a credit on An Audience With Elton John) and Ozzy Osbourne's wife, who does at least have a couple of acting jobs under her belt - a guest slot on Will and Grace and a brief haunting of a daytime soap. Boise, Idaho must be salivating waiting for this one.
