They'd been what professional gossip columnists call an item for ages, but now he's retired from riding bicycles for a living, Lance Armstrong has got engaged to Sheryl Crow. Apparently, Idaho was the backdrop to the proposal, which probably means they celebrated with a potato-themed meal.
