If it's to be believed - I know, I'm so harsh and dubious, aren't I? - The Sunday Mirror says Victoria Beckham has bought her husband an overpriced Rolls Royce for Christmas, and has gone to extremes to hide the surprise from him. Let's hope nobody reads the papers to him and blows the surprise, eh?
The Mirror interprets the spending of a large sum of cash as a clear indication of how solid their marriage is despite all that business earlier on in the year, because, of course, depth of love can only be married in pounds.
