THERE'S A BIT OF BAMBI IN EVERY LINDA MCCARTNEY SAUSAGE

Not, obviously, actually venison - that would be disgusting - but Paul has revealed that what got him interested in animal rights and energised his and Linda's campaigns and four-footed-friendly enterprises was seeing Bambi (and Dumbo) when he was a kid:

“Bambi made me grow up thinking hunting isn’t cool.

“You look through a lot of these great stories: Dumbo — his mum is quite badly treated.

“Kids, as I once was, have grown up feeling it’s a bad idea to be cruel to animals.”

It's heartwarming, isn't it? Of course, it suggests that if he'd gone to see Cinderella instead, he'd have spent his adult life exploring the possibilities of using pumpkins as mass transit systems.
