STILL NO JAM TOMORROW

Interesting to hear Paul Weller insisting there's going to be no Jam reunion during his just-aired interview on Radio 4's Today - he said he was disappointed by any band who get back together, as artists should keep moving forward and not looking backwards.

We'd completely agree with him, although isn't a solo artist releasing a "tenth anniversary special edition" with bonus discage the individual's equivalent of a reunion tour?

Weller's not entirely shy about his own talents, either. Asked how he feels about the lifetime achievement award the Brits are giving him this year, he honked that "I fink it's justified... I've been doing it for thirty years... it was either me or Macca."
