OOH, YOU CAN TELL JAMES BLUNT USED TO BE SOLDIER
Yes, the take no prisoners (but beat up a few teenagers for a laugh) attitude of Her Majesty's forces really shines through in James Blunt response to Paul Weller suggesting he'd rather date Mark Oaten than share a stage with him. With squaddie mates lurking on the top of a nearby roof with a video camera, Blunt laid into Weller:
"I was never asked to do a duet with Paul Weller so I've no idea why he made those comments. I don't care."
Oooh! That's going to.... hang about... that is your response? A semi-mature shrug of the shoulders? What about a fight, man? We're starting to understand why you're making pissweak ballads for a living rather than commanding a division, Blunt.

Funny that... I reckon the maudlin strumalong "You Do Something To Me" could have come from the pen of Captain James Fortescue Rhyming-Slang Bl(o)unt...
No idea, bluntchops? It's because you're responsible for no end of insipid tuneless drivel.
