GERE WE ARE

Since she's pretty much faded from public view, it's perhaps apt that Avril Lavigne has surfaced with a tiny part in a movie about a missing girl. She's starring with Richard Gere:

"He was like really cool. In between takes he was giving me pointers. It was so crazy as I’ve known about him since I was little. My parents thought that was so cool."

"known about", you'll notice, rather than "have liked him." Still, how cool was that cool thing that happened, then? Cool, eh?
