ORANGE JUICER FRESHLY SQUEEZED

Enticing news for people who are fond of classic Scottish indie-pop, as Malcolm Ross, one-time member of Josef K and Orange Juice (or would that be two-time member) prepares for the release of a new collection of his solo stuff.

Wrong Place, Wrong Time is due out on Re-action Records on October 23rd. It's not totally new - made-up of bits and pieces previously made available through Marina Records of Germany - but there's four new tracks and nobody's so impossibly cool they'd have both the German records. If that's not enough to convince you, there's guest waving as Orange Juicers, David McLymont and Steven Daly, The Go-Betweens¹ Robert Vickers and Paul Haig and David Weddell of Josef K all trot by.

Domino has lined up a Josef K compilation for September. All shaping up for a bumper royalty cheque at the end of the year, then, Malcolm.
