SNOW PATROL SUPPORT FOR MISSING WOMAN

Snow Patrol have agreed to wear a blue ribbon during their set tonight at the Belfast Botanic Gardens in support of a campaign by the family of Lisa Dorrian.

Lisa disappeared in February 2005; she's believed to have been murdered by Loyalist terrorists from the LVF but her body has never been found.

The band were approached by Lisa's sister, Joanne:

Joanne Dorrian said she hoped that the band would help raise awareness of Lisa's case.

"Snow Patrol have been good enough to accept our offer to wear Lisa's blue ribbon of hope," she said.

"We're just hoping that by people seeing them wearing it on stage it will raise awareness of Lisa's campaign and it will raise awareness of the website and people will just start thinking a wee bit more about what's happened to Lisa."

The website is at the heart of a campaign to try and discover exactly what happened to Lisa when she disappeared.
