To be honest, we don't think anyone was really that bothered by the idea of Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilera having a battle royale by releasing their albums on the same day. Good lord, even if they were wrestling in jelly you'd choose to look the other way.

But it's not going to happen now anyway: Paris has blinked first, and shifted her school talent show collection release to avoid being crushed into the ground by Aguilera.

Generously, of course, that'll give the filesharing networks a few more days to make the Hilton record available for free. After all, the labels claim their worry about filesharing is that the artists don't get paid - hardly matters with Hilton, does it?
