LINDSAY LOHAN GOIN'

Every time we feature Lindsay Lohan on No Rock, we do a quick Google to just double-check that she actually does count as a singer, as we find it hard to remember any record she might have made.

It seems Island Records have the same problem as, if The Sun is to be believed, they're angry that she didn't help promote her records over here at all.

There's an industry source who says so, anyway:

An industry source told me: “A single was a huge flop over here because Lindsay couldn’t be bothered to get off her bum and promote it. In the end they didn’t even bother releasing the album, called Speak, in Britain.

“She didn’t bother to come over to the UK to do interviews or make TV appearances to help sell the album. Island have now decided not to do another one with her.”

We'd have thought, to be frank, that it's not really Island UK's call - after all, they were just flogging stuff she'd recorded for Universal elsewhere, so it's not like they can really stop her from making another album. Her "tiredness" might stop her. But not Island.
