Do one Diddy, Diddy won Diddy to-do

People fight over the strangest things - interpretations of the Bible, the Falkland Isles, which brand of sugar-free cola is the one which makes you look least like you're not all man.

This week, two men came to the brink of a court fight over who had the right to call themselves Diddy. And neither were Diddy David Hamilton.

Puff Daddy is now faced with a massive rebranding exercise (not something with which he's unfamiliar) having come to an out-of-court agreement with Richard "Diddy" Dearlove that only Dearlove is the one true Diddy:

he can no longer trade under the Diddy name in the UK, under the terms of the settlement agreement signed with Dearlove.

P Diddy (as was) intends to launch his new name, Des Lynham, sometime next week.
