As part of the rumbling discontent of Christians who can't see that their disapproval is what she craves, a Dutch priest attempted to force cancellation of Madonna's Amsterdam dates by phoning in a bomb threat.

He's liable to be given community service to make ammends - although, of course, he would have viewed trying to stop her dates as a service to the community; it's not known if the church will have to take action as it all smacks of bearing false witness, doesn't it?
