Kylie: The no-show girl tour

So, in the cold light of morning, what happened in Manchester last night becomes a little clearer: Kylie had flu, and - from the various reports - was barely able to stand up, much less perform a whole gig. Everyone has sympathy for her being unwell, but there are a number of people understandably annoyed that the gig went ahead with a star who, clearly, should have been at home with a LemSip and a Harold Robbins.

There's a post from someone who was at the Manchester Arena in the comments on our Kylie post last night which sums up what seems to be the prevailing mood: Kylie and the audience were put through a charade so the promoters didn't end up having to cough up refunds.

So far, the promoters don't seem to have released a statement.
