More to the point, why is he friends with members of Fall Out Boy? Aren't there any grown-ups he can talk to?
I'm not sure when Wentz says he' a friend that he means "we hang out together and talk about girl's bottoms" type friend; probably more a "he nods sometimes when we meet in the corridor of the record label" type way
I'd do the same if I was Smith. Anything to distance myself from the Emo brigade intent on bring shame to The Cure
