No Mo' Mojave

After a long period where it merely looked like they weren't going to do anything again, Mojave 3 have finally confirmed they're taking the Walt Disney option and putting themselves on ice for an indefinite hiatus.

Drummer Ian McCutcheon broke the news to the world:

"There are no plans what-so-ever to record another Mojave3 record."

Of course, since drummers are usually the last to find out what's going on in their bands, we imagine he said this with a note of some surprise.

"Don’t believe reports on the internet of Mojave 3’s demise. Neither Ian (whose fantastic Loose Salute record has just been released) nor Neil have plans not to record another Mojave record. Ian writes…

…just to let you know at no point have i said mojave3 are ‘throwing in the towel’.. it seems that because the salute record is coming out/out and mojave3 have no plans to record another record yet (as far as i’m aware!) that people assume the band is finished,, … there’s been a few online reviews that have said that,, bloody scandalous!!! ian

So, while you shouldn’t expect to see a new M3 record any time soon - Mojave 3 are not over and will be back!

Peace xx"

Erm... that actually says exactly the same as the post does - no plans to record another Mojave 3 record. Which is what "indefinite hiatus" means.
