Ringoes electronic

When you see Ringo, will you tell him that I don't 'arf love him...

After years of mistrust of the online world, the Beatles are embracing digitisation with the passion of a deathbed convert.

Paul McCartney is currently appearing in adverts for iTunes and iPod; sadly, he's doing Dance Around in the spots, which is a song so awful the Frog Chorus have started to drop having worked with Thumbsaloft from their CV.

Meanwhile, Ringo has signed a deal with EMI which will allow his solo back catalogue to be made available digitally - something which could provide an almost laboratory-conditions test of longtail theories.
