No, no: You're beautiful

Talking of James Blunt, it seems that Victoria Newton is still in full-on fawning mode, as this morning she declares the sleeve for his forthcoming album:

the best I’ve seen for years

Really? It's one of those montages of small photos making up a bigger picture that were quite modish about a decade ago - I believe you can even get Winne The Pooh posters made up in the same way, if you rootle around in the back of the Disney Shop.

Still, chances are it'll be a Magic Eye picture for album number three, eh?

Any news on whether Paolo Nutini's managed to secure the rights to the photo of the tennis girl scratching her arse for his new album?

have you seen the fees for rights to that? It's going to be the monkey with a snorkel coming out of the toilet or nothing.

Lord almighty, that's one ugly cover, quite possibly one of the worst I've EVER seen. Not just in terms of ugliness, but also in terms of bad design.

Does newton not realise you can download free software to make crap like that? You just drag and drop the selection of pictures you want to use, then add the main picture, hit the magic button - and it creates the collage for you. It would quite literally take just 1 miniute to create that cover using that method.

And as for the font....

OW OW OW OW OW. I've only just looked at Newton's pages for the first time today. Did anyone else spot this journalistic gem?

"THE KILLERS frontman BRANDON FLOWERS has just become a dad. Considering their son was born in the middle of summer, I wonder if Brandon and missus Tara will call the little fella Mr Brightside after their hit single. "

I've asked this before and I'll ask it again; Does Newton realise the stuff she types is actually going out in a national newspaper? Or maybe she had to pad that particular article out to make the page look even? Because either way, that was horrible.

Remember when Homer Simpson became 'Mr Plow', and her performed an impromptu 'rap' as Bart and Lisa groaned, cringed and begged him to stop? Reading that apalling second sentence, I felt their pain.
