Headlock surfaces in News of the World
Earlier this week, he helped derail the inquest into the death of Mark Blanco by telling the coroner he'd told police he'd pushed Blanco because of "smug people" like the bereaved family. Today, though, Johnny Headlock has popped up in the News of the World as a supposedly reliable witness, claiming Pete Doherty tried to kill himself while in rehab:
The troubled star's minder, Johnny "Headlock" Jeannevol told us: "Pete's been really wound up over Kate showing off her new man.
"He saw an opportunity to take an overdose and took it. He told me he didn't know what the pills were but thought ‘fuck it' and took them all."
"He doesn't care what drugs do to him—in fact, he likes finding out."

Another "friend" who "asked not to be named" tells the paper that Doherty's team was considering having him sectioned during the same period.
All of which, if true, would make Pete's apparent full recovery and kicking of the drugs seem something of a speedy medical miracle.
