Astonishing news from the 3AM column this morning:
Eels frontman Mark Oliver Everett seems desperate to attract a better class of fan to his gigs.
The cheeky US indie star even wrote to the Queen inviting her to attend his recent show at the Royal Festival Hall.

It worries me that Eels are known to 3am, hopefully its because of his work on the Shrek soundtracks and not E becoming a feature of the tabloid gossip pages.
Evidently he's not known enough for them to work out who he is within a month.
