Decade Null: 2002 - Pink

"LA told me, you'll be a pop star, all you have to change is everything you are". I've always liked Pink. Proper pop star. Although not so good when she's in love, unfortunately. Anyone who doesn't have a least one track from Missundaztood that they love probably doesn't really like music.

Spooky, was just thinking about Pink for some reason. Is my memory working - Was Pink's first album made pretty much against her will, because her record label wanted an R&B artist at the time, whilst she wanted to make the sort of music she was then able to put out from this album onwards?

I *think* that's what I heard. But then I do hear a lot of things that turn out to be guff. Although I'm fairly certain she appeared on Spongebob last year.

Yes, she probably did.

I don't know how much truth there is in the story (as opposed to a handy way of marketing her), but the R&B against her will story is the party line. It would at least explain why Can't Take Me Home is so dreadful.

The only flaw in the story is that very few acts get past the 'look, let's do it my way' part of the meeting.

Has Spongebob jumped the fridge yet? I thought the sandwich toaster John Lewis was selling was symbolic...
