INFERNAL MAJESTY FALL OUT OVER MONEY

Canadian hair and leather metallers are having one of those wonderful rock rows: former singer Chris Bailey over unpaid royalties:

Bailey had the following to say about the circumstances that led to his depature from the band: "I would assume what Ken [guitarist Kenny Hallman] was referring to in the previous interview with [Metal-Rules.com] when he stated that he was questioning the future of Chris Bailey and INFERNAL MAJESTY as if it were his decision, and that I had missed some big show where a friend of the band had to stand in for me, is misinformation. This was the best he could come up with to try and add some sort of fact to his fiction when the fact of the matter is the show in question I think he's refering to was us filling in for a local band that cancelled last minute and I was unable to do it because I had picked up the flu."

Hmm. And what do Infernal Majesty have to say?

"INFERNAL MAJESTY has pictures posted at their MySpace website of friend of the band, Greg Cavanagh, filling in for for ex-INFERNAL MAJESTY vocalist Chris Bailey. It is common knowledge to all INFERNAL MAJESTY fans in Vancouver that Greg filled in for Bailey on five or six occasions, which spanned close to a year. Which leaves the question: What was Bailey telling the truth about in his interview?

"INFERNAL MAJESTY dismisses the whole interview as a publicity stunt."

The question is, of course, is just how much the royalties these two parties have fallen out over ammounts to? Infernal Majesty, eh? We must be talking at least fifteen dollars.
