Britney Spears has gone out wearing a hat and a warm coat.

Victoria Newton isn't impressed, suggesting that she looks like "an old Prune", by which she means Prunella Scales (let's not even get into the sweeping, rude judgement on one of this nation's saving graces, shall we?). But then Newton starts to go slightly bonkers. Apparently, Britney Spears looks like Prunella Scales in "an old TV" - is Vixy getting muddled up between an actor in a Tesco advert and Evil Edna? Is she suggesting that Britney's new look makes her look like Prunella Scales being held hostage by an ageing cross dresser? Or did nobody read her stuff with a view to correcting it before it went online?

Britney was snapped in Los Angeles wearing a brown mac and pink hat that’d go down a treat at my gran’s gossip group.

Ah. The use of the phrase "my gran's gossip group" (what's a gossip group?) suggests that the subs have just decided to not bother trying to make Newton's work read like a writer has produced it.
