Rav insists: Spice Girls reunite
Last week, Rav Singh, the News of the World's, uh, expert or something, insisted the Spice Girls were recording a secret single in a basement in Brighton. Now, he's promoted it to Christmas Number One and got them touring to celebrate:
And now I can unveil details about the fab five secretly lining up a series of super shows for their fans worldwide over the next 12 months. The girls—who split in 2001—will release a greatest hits album this winter.
If their Christmas tune is a smash hit — a sure-thing after notching up an incredible NINE No1 singles — other tracks will be released before they hit the road.
They plan to play huge venues with capacities of around 90,000 at major cities, but they have refused a long-term tour offer from EMI.

A sure thing, eh, Rav? Hadn't All Saints got quite a good track record? And why would you assume the reunion single behaves like the Spice's group tracks rather than their, um, slightly less stellar solo material?
