All apologies

Curiously, the apology in the Sun retracting Victoria's story about Michael Jackson taking five million to go to Prince Azim's birthday party hasn't got her name anywhere near it.

Here's their apology in full:

WE are happy to make it clear that Michael Jackson was not paid £5million or any other sum for turning up at the birthday party of his friend, the Sultan of Brunei’s son, Prince Azim.

Sorry for suggesting otherwise.

Equally interesting, the £AM Girl's story about the party, that claimed Jackson fell ill at the party, also seems to have vanished.

Michael Jackson has apparently sent out for cod and chips from a Melton Mowbray chippie after tiring of the food (presumably "good, old-fashioned northern grub") on offer at the Azim of Brunei's wasteful ("lavish") 25th birthday party. It did him no good, as he apparently wound up sick as a dog through too many refreshing harmless fizzy drinks.
