PEACE IN OUR TIME
One of the minor amusements of 2005 has been watching Cheryl Tweedy trying to pick a fight with Charlotte Church, something which has been like Lidl going after Waitrose. It looks like we might not have that to enjoy this year, though: Cheryl has made a bid to sign a peace deal:
"The whole Charlotte thing got blown out of proportion and I'm not going to bitch about her any more. I've made the first move so it's up to her. But you won't hear me slagging her off again."
Cheryl, of course, launched the first attack when she accused Chazza of "stealing" the Girls Aloud sound; unlike the Girls themselves, of course, who won it on a TV gameshow fair and square.
