This week just gone

Seven days on No Rock and Roll Fun

The most-read individual stories:
1. Lily Allen changing her clothes
2. R Kelly's sex video to be shown in court. If he ever comes to court
3. Britney Spears' naked movie offer
4. Beth Ditto: naked, photoshopped, proud
5. McFly remove trousers for GAY
6. Heather Mills porn pictures
7. Nick Lachey tries to block sex pictures
8. Ben Lee video shoot canned by naked skateboard boys
9. Does KT Tunstall like boys or girls?
10. Akon stops dry-humping underage girls long enough to give them dildo vouchers

Also this week:
There was news of second albums from Babyshambles and Dirty Pretty Things; Bob Geldof knocked a bloke off his motorbike; Beth Ditto cosied up to Perez Hilton while Courtney Love discovered the internet; Universal issued a take-down to a woman who posted a thirty second phone clip of a toddler dancing to Prince while the RIAA admitted lawsuits don't work and the UK government came out against copyright extension and Buju Banton embraced gay men. Or at least claimed to.

You can read the whole week on one page
or skim the week before in one post

Five years ago:
Australian airline workers called for Oasis to be banned from their airspace while their people got agitated at reports one of their party had been found with drugs at an Italian airport; Ashanti tried to compete with the recently sainted Aaliyah by saying how much she enjoyed the idea of being wanked over; MTV celebrated 15 years in the UK by revealing Nirvana were their most-played act - this was back when they showed videos; largely-forgotten Pressplay tried to shift from rent-to-buy for their download service; Kate Moss made her recording debut with Primal Scream; Bill Bailey took over Sean Hughes' seat on Buzzcocks to allow Seanie to go and muck Eileen Grimshaw about; a desperate group of eye-popping right wingers tried to cash in by calling themselves the MP3 Party while cab-themed music site the Knowledge.com went south of the river for good while Chris Moyles was told off for claiming he'd have sex with Charlotte Church.

Flog it:
